The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the oldest national civil engineering society in America, is currently seeking an industrious self-starter directly responsible for the day-to-day administration of accounts and communications, as well as billing, tracking payments, and product usage. Additional responsibilities include customer service to high end clients, outreach to prospective clients and tracking progress of campaigns.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with current clients and contacts to meet and manage day to day requests
  • Working with colleagues to secure proper deployment of products according to contract specifications
  • Assisting with administration of outgoing communication for large distribution of ASCE information as well as, targeted messages as needed
  • Monitoring private email box and responding promptly to needs and inquiries
  • Tracking usage of products against contract specifications
  • Reporting overage issues as well as under usage
  • Assisting with the administration and evaluation of client benefits and requirements
  • Assisting with the administration and evaluation of recruitment efforts
  • Performing research on prospects as well as competing organizations
  • Participating in events to promote Society membership and affiliation

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's degree with experience in marketing, membership development, and professional writing
  • 2-3 years' experience in sales support, customer service, and research
  • Demonstrated success solving problems, exercising sound judgement, and working within a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate expertise in MS Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Experience with Sales Force a plus
