The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), one of the nation's largest and most dynamic nonprofit organizations, is currently searching for a Senior Coordinator to

plan and coordinate the development, design and delivery of ASCE's Guided Online Courses (GOCs).

Do you like helping professionals with training and development?  We are looking for the right person to join our team keeping our members active and current with their continuing education.

Responsibilities include:

  • GOC development course management
  • Coordinate with Director, Continuing Education Programming to contract with subject-matter-experts and contractors
  • Coordinate GOC subject-matter-experts and contractors to:
    • ensure timely delivery of course materials
    • ensure compliance with IACET standards and ASCE Continuing Education goals
  • Train subject-matter-experts on:
    • course development steps, standards, and processes
    • use of software necessary for course development
  • Review, edit, and finalize GOC materials for deployment
  • Develop and deliver course specific marketing material
  • Conduct weekly meetings with GOC contractors to review progress and plan next steps in development process
  • Develop original marketing graphics and content for ASCE Continuing Education products
  • Track and initiate payments to GOC instructors on completion of development milestones

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4-year college degree
  • 2-3 years' project manager experience (supporting adult learning activities a big plus)
  • Demonstrated and proven success in a deadline driven and fast paced environment
  • Thorough proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, Camtasia and Word Press
  • Experience in sales and customer service a big plus!
